The seeds from our Great Pumpkin Seed contest have all been counted and the results are in! Jackie O. Lantern, our 16 pound pumpkin donated by Sweet Berry Farm, had a whopping 748 seeds in her! 121 children entered our contest and two lucky winners who were closet to the exact number of seeds will each receive a Friends of the Library book bag and a gift certificate to either Sweet Berry Farm or to Island Books.
The two winners each guessed 708 seeds and 700 seeds, respectively. Congrats to our two winners for their extraordinary estimation skills!
